Current state. Target state.
$5,000 engagement
A focused one- to two-week engagement where a Redoubt Forge architect assesses your current security architecture, models where it needs to go, and delivers a written report with migration recommendations and security findings. Three months of Guardian tier included so you can start applying the recommendations in the platform immediately.
Professional Services
Reviewed. Written. Delivered.
Not a framework audit. Not a certification prep. A focused architectural read of where you are, where you should be, and how to get there from a team that has built secure platforms for regulated environments.
Engagement Shape
One principal architect, 15 to 20 hours of focused work delivered over one or two weeks. No consulting sprint, no offshore handoff, no junior pool. The architect who reviews your environment is the one who writes the report and answers your follow-up questions. Small enough to stay sharp, large enough to produce real recommendations.
One Architect, End to End
The person reading your environment is the person writing the report. No mid-engagement re-explanation to a new face, no diluted recommendations from a fresh associate. The review stays in one head from kickoff to delivery.
What Gets Delivered
Each engagement produces six fixed deliverables so you know exactly what to expect: a current state assessment of how your architecture works today and where the load-bearing assumptions live; a target architecture diagram showing the version Redoubt Forge would recommend for your workload class and threat model; a gap analysis ranking the architectural deltas between current and target by effort and impact; migration recommendations with concrete sequencing and dependencies; security findings the architect observed during the review, prioritized by severity; and a written report capturing all of the above as a single document delivered at the end of the engagement.
Six Deliverables, Fixed
The scope does not float. Six artifacts are promised at the kickoff and six artifacts ship at the close. Effort-vs-impact ranking means the report is something the team can act on Monday, not file in a drive.
Who It Is For
Architecture Review is right for teams making a decision: evaluating cloud providers, planning a migration, inheriting a legacy environment, scaling a product to a new workload class, or wanting an outside read before committing to a multi-quarter build. It is not a framework gap assessment. If your need is control-by-control compliance gap analysis against a specific framework, that lives in Rampart or in the Phase 2 Gap Assessment service.
Pricing and Inclusion
One-time $5,000. The engagement includes three months of Guardian tier subscription so you can start applying the architect's recommendations in the platform while they are still available for follow-up. Your subscription continues at the standard rate after the included period if you choose to keep it; cancel with no clawback if you do not. See Pricing for tier details.
Capacity
Architecture Reviews are capped at two concurrent engagements. This is a deliberate quality guardrail: founder-level delivery, no consulting pool. If the queue is full when you request the engagement, you will be offered a scheduled start date. The cap exists to keep the review sharp.
The Review Earns Its Price
Five thousand dollars buys a senior architect's attention, not a templated workbook. The fixed-scope deliverables mean the engagement closes when promised, not when the consulting clock runs out. Three months of Guardian buys runway to act on the report inside the platform that just modeled the gap. The cap on concurrent engagements is not scarcity marketing. It is the line that keeps every report worth the next reference call.
