Ongoing Advisory.

Ongoing Advisory is a recurring monthly engagement with a three-month minimum commitment, after which it continues month to month until you cancel. Each month gives you 10 to 15 hours of architect time across the deliverables below. The minimum exists because the value compounds: the first month builds context, the second month produces guidance, the third month begins to influence your architecture and operating patterns. Shorter engagements do not give the architect enough time to internalize your environment.

Each month includes four deliverables: a monthly architecture review of changes since the last month, where the architect identifies risks, optimizations, and decisions that need a second set of eyes; up to 10 hours of ad-hoc guidance on questions, design reviews, or implementation problems your team raises during the month; optimization recommendations for cost, performance, or security based on what the architect observes; and quarterly roadmap alignment where the architect helps you connect your architecture trajectory to your compliance and product roadmap.

Typical candidates are teams in the middle of a multi-quarter compliance program who need an expert to validate decisions along the way: a defense contractor executing a CMMC Level 2 remediation roadmap, a SaaS vendor in the middle of a FedRAMP authorization cycle, a healthcare team standardizing HIPAA Security Rule compliance across multiple product lines. If you need a single focused engagement with concrete deliverables, Architecture Review is a better fit. If you need ongoing expert backup without hiring a full-time compliance architect, Ongoing Advisory is the right pattern.

$2,500 per month for the duration of the engagement. Team tier subscription is included for the entire engagement period, valued at $499/mo standalone. The effective cost of the advisory time is approximately $2,000 per month after subtracting the included subscription value. Three-month minimum, then month-to-month. Cancel at the end of any month after the minimum; your Team subscription continues at the standard rate or downgrades based on your preference.

Ongoing Advisory is capped at two concurrent engagements for the same reason as Architecture Review: founder-level delivery quality. If the cap is full, you will be placed on a waitlist with a target start date. The cap is a feature, not a limitation.
